Yesterday, I attended the Saint John Dragon Boat Festival with my workplace team at T4G Limited.
Once again, I dressed as a pirate to give our team that “extra edge”, although it didn’t make it into the newspaper this year.
Our team definitely had the coolest “tent”, a huge tee-pee that everyone was peeking their heads inside to see:
We even had the Deputy Mayor, Stephen Chase, rowing for us!
Unfortunately, the rain was brutal this year, and during our second race, everyone on the team became completely soaked although we did improve on our time!
I’ll update once the 2009 results are posted; but, we did a lot better then our times last year: 1:13.34 and 1:08.68!
