Moosehead Launches Moosehead Light Lime

Interesting news from Moosehead’s Twitter account (@MooseheadLager) today, they will be launching “Moosehead Light Lime” this summer!

Here the the details from the Canadian Beer News blog:

MONCTON, NB – Moosehead Breweries are extending their popular Moosehead Light brand with Moosehead Light Lime, a lime-flavoured light beer to be available through the summer. Moosehead President Andrew Oland announced the new brand at a breakfast meeting of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick in Moncton this morning.

Moosehead Light Lime will be available in New Brunswick and PEI in 12-pack bottles until September. It will also be served at the Bon Jovi and AC/DC concerts at Magnetic Hill this summer, where Moosehead has secured exclusive beer pouring rights.

    had one today for the first time….Better than Bud Light Lime, not as sweet. Is it available in Ontario? If not, when?

    Agree with Mary – why stop selling in September? Unless you guys are shutting it down to make room for some kind of winter-warmer type beer, I say keep it going – it will sell, guaranteed.

    Please send this beer to Alberta(Calgary specifically)! I had some in Halifax when I was on vacation, it was so good. All of the lime beer on the market today tastes like lime pop, Moosehead light lime tastes like beer with a hint of lime. A far superior beer!!

    Great beer, both the regular and Lime Light. Glad they sell it down here in Maryland at my local grocery store. Got the free t-shirt and bottle-opener-coaster last year, so extra credit is in order.

    When will BC get this beer….had it in Winnipeg a month back and like it way better than Bud Light Lime…its not as sweet.
