He is mixing his personal beliefs and interests with those of the community. We all saw the results of the public consultations and media polling. We are talking about support for the project in the 90%+ range - and yet he won't stop fighting it. As you would say, the voting public is always right...except when Abel thinks otherwise? Also, I never said the word arrogant, I am saying that if he wants to keep talking about these things as he is, he should resign and do so as a public citizen. It's wrong to use his position as MLA to push his personal interests. I believe that my comments are quite valid.

Yes it was inappropriate to condone violence but to say Abel puts his personal interests above his constituents is not true.Abel has helped his constituents and people who are not constituents in ways the public will never know.I know this from personal experience.If you do not live in poverty you would not hear about these things. If Abel is so arrogant why did he get reelected in a landslide. This blog has never supported pro union candidates such as Ivan Court Bruce Court and Patty Higgins yet they all got elected much to the chagrin of this blog and the Irving press.The old adage is that the voting public is always right. Perhaps Stephen Chase should have put his council seat on the line as did Court Ferguson and Hooton and run for mayor. Your comments on Abel LeBlanc are not valid.
